Through the use of focused fundraising and donations, the Occupational Therapy Association of Oregon strives to support our OT/OTA students. Each year, OTAO presents scholarships to students enrolled in an occupational therapy or occupational therapy assistant program.
Applicants MUST be a member of OTAO
Amount available is based on donations received, dedicated fundraising activities throughout the year, and funds raised by the annual Scholarship Silent/Live Auction held the previous year at the OTAO Annual Conference
Conference planners will determine:
4 = Excellent demonstrates exceptional understanding, application, andcontribution to the OT profession
3 = Above Average demonstrates good understanding and application of the OT domain of practice.
2 = Average demonstrates the understanding and application of the OT domain of practice.
1 = Below Average demonstrates emergent understanding and application of the OT domain of practice.
OTAO has an endowed scholarship through the AOTF. A scholarship is awarded, on a yearly basis, to an occupational therapy student attending Pacific University or an occupational therapy assistant student attending Linn-Benton Community College. The student who is awarded the scholarship must be a member of OTAO. Amount of scholarship will be determined each year by the OTAO board.
